General Info
Beautiful Aberdovey/ Aberdyfi is our nearest village, and as well as miles of sandy beach there’s pubs, cafes, local grocery shops, galleries, and gift shops. Perfect for pottering around. You can find out more about Aberdyfi and what’s on here.
There is no cash point in Aberdyfi, but you can get cash back at the Post Office or there’s a cash point by the Co-op in nearby Tywyn.
In the current situation what is and isn’t open is changing frequently, so always check with each place before making any plans.
Getting About
Buses
The X29 Coastliner bus stops on request at the entrance off the main road.
For buses to Aberdyfi and Tywyn the nearest stop times is Cwrt and you’ll need to stand on the opposite side of the road.
For buses to Machynlleth use the times from Aberdyfi and stand on our side of the road.

Trains
The Cambrian Coast railways is not just a way to get to AtoB, but a journey though stunning Welsh scenery. You can catch a train at Aberdovey, Machynlleth or Tywyn.
Remember to check the timetable before travelling. Out of season there are sometime engineering works whihc can affect the days the trains run.

Supermarkets/ food shops
There’s a village shop and Spar in Aberdyfi, as well as a good local butcher.
Tywyn Foods in Tywyn does a good range of locally sourced food and bread, and Tywyn Bakery does great bread and amazing chelsea buns! There is also a local butcher, Spar and Co-op supermarket.
In Machynlleth, there’s a good butcher and deli, as well as a Spar and Co-op supermarket.
