I don’t know about you, but the older I get the more difficult it is to decide what to do on New Year’s Eve night, with a quiet night in sometimes looking like the best option!
So, if you’re looking for an alternative New Year escape why not come to Nyth Robin? We have glamping available in our cosy shepherd’s hut or in our quirky converted horsebox. Both have wood burning stoves and well equipped kitchen, so perfect for a cosy night in. Or we have a few pitches with electric for your caravan, motorhome or campervan. With just 5 pitches you can expect the usual Nyth Robin peace and tranquillity.
If you do fancy getting out and about to see in the New Year, then we highly recommend heading to Aberdovey/ Aberdyfi to watch their fabulous firework display from the beach at midnight. There are a few restaurants (pre-booking essential) and pubs to choose from to keep warm before and after. Or for a bit more of a party the Salt Marsh Cafe Bar in Tywyn has a disco and belly dancers! Taxis back to site are possible if booked well in advance (ask us for numbers).
And there’s no better way to finish or start the year than a walk on Aberdyfi’s glorious sandy beach. For the more adventurous how about a hike up Cader Idris to really blow the cobwebs away or test your downhill mountain bike skills at Dyfi Bike Park. For a unique view of Aberdyfi and the Dyfi Estuary join the Letssup Paddle Boarding crew for their New Year’s Eve session.
