About Nyth Robin
Green Holidays Wales
Our Story at Nyth Robin
We took on Nyth Robin in 2016, when it was a small caravan park tucked into the woods above the Dyfi estuary. We opened as Nyth Robin in 2017 and have been gently shaping the site ever since.
Over the years we have added our glamping accommodation, the current facilities block, a covered communal area and a wood‑fired pizza oven.
There are now 9 touring pitches and 6 one‑off glamping places to stay, with views through the trees and Aberdyfi just a short drive away.
What started as a place we fell in love with has become our home and work, and we are both very hands-on on the site so it’s most likely it’s us you’ll see around doing jobs around the site.
We believe this helps us get to know our guests better and create the best guest experience on your family fun holidays. We also love chatting with guests, finding out where they’ve been and getting their top tips for the area.
Nyth Robin is a quiet, relaxed site where we hope our guests can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind.

The Nyth Robin Team
Grant is our master craftsman, site handyman and arborist! He designed and built the facilities block, our social area, Y Nyth and the pizza oven. Grant also built the various glamping kitchens and outside areas. A handyman indeed!
Sadie is in charge of all things customer-facing – from bookings and guest communications to chief bedmaker.
We also have our very own campsite hound, Rustin, who is mostly in charge of security!
We were both keen campers and glampers before taking on Nyth Robin, so hope we’ve taken the best from our experiences and added it to the site with our own stamp to create the perfect retreat accommodation in Eryri/ Snowdonia National Park and Mid Wales.
Our Green Ethos
We are a small owner‑run site, created and cared for with our own vision and love. Looking after the planet matters to us, so wherever we can we re‑use, upcycle and repurpose.
Recycling is easy here, with clear facilities and compost waste collection, and our flushing toilets are actually compost toilets. Our water is heated by solar thermal as much as possible and some of our glamping units are powered by solar panels.
In 2024 we were chuffed to win the Greener Site Award from Campsites.co.uk, recognising our focus on creating a site that is as environmentally friendly as possible. We have also been recognised as a Plastic Free Champion by Plastic Free Aberdyfi and Surfers Against Sewage.
There is always more we can do, and we keep looking for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and keep Nyth Robin a genuinely green holiday choice in Wales.

Facilities & shared spaces
We provide the facilities you would expect for a comfortable stay, including hot showers, flushing compost toilets, a washing up area, drinking water points and recycling and rubbish collection. The facilities block is well looked after and our reviews often mention how clean everything is.
There is a small on‑site shop selling everyday essentials, some local Welsh treats and firewood, and you can hire a fire pit too. You will also find plenty of tourist information and local maps to help you plan days out, with Aberdyfi and the coast a short drive away.
Y Nyth, The Nest, is our undercover communal space, somewhere to sit with a brew on a rainy day or find a bit of shade on hot afternoons. This is also where you will find our wood‑fired pizza oven, which is fired up on busy Saturdays. Find out more.
For touring guests we have are grey water and Elsan disposal points.
