Our Terms & Conditions
When making a booking, you’re entering an agreement with Nyth Robin, so it’s important you read our terms and conditions below.
We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave should any of these terms and conditions not be adhered to.
The booking and cancellation terms and conditions below apply to direct bookings only.
If you have booked through a third-party site such as Airbnb or Campsites.co.uk, please refer to the terms and conditions of booking & cancellation with the relevant company.
BOOKING
Your stay at Nyth Robin is only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit or full payment.
Touring – We require a non-refundable deposit to book a pitch for you. This deposit is 25% of your booking. Full payment is due 10 days before your stay, or at the time of booking if this is less than 48 hours before your stay.
Glamping – We require a non-refundable deposit to book any of our glamping accommodation. This deposit is 25% of your booking. Full payment is due 6 weeks (42 days) before your stay, or at the time of booking if this is less than 6 weeks (42 days before your stay.
All deposits are non-refundable
We reserve the right to cancel any booking if full payment has been requested but has not been made.
CANCELLATIONS
Once you have booked your stay at Nyth Robin, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit or full payment is non-refundable unless we are unable to open. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover you in case of a cancellation.
Touring
If you have to cancel for any reason, then all payments made are not refundable. If we’re able to re-sell your dates then, at our discretion, we may offer to change your dates or offer a credit note for a £10 admin fee.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if your pitch is unavailable for reasons beyond our control. If Nyth Robin is not able to be open for all or part of your stay we will offer you a full refund, a credit note for a future stay or a date change. Our liability does not extend beyond the refund, date change or credit note offered.
Glamping
If you have to cancel for any reason, then any payments made are not refundable. If we’re able to re-sell your dates then, at our discretion, we may offer to change your dates or offer a credit note for a £20 admin fee.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if your accommodation is unavailable for reasons beyond our control. If Nyth Robin is not able to be open for all or part of your stay we will offer you a full refund, a credit note for a future stay or a date change. Our liability does not extend beyond the refund, date change or credit note offered.
The following information applies to ALL bookings at Nyth Robin regardless of how the booking was originally made.
FORCE MAJEURE
If the whole of the Nyth Robin site must close due to a force majeure, then we are not responsible for cancellations and will not refund any payments made.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Touring – Check-in for our touring pitches is between 1 pm and 9 pm only. Prior to your stay, you will receive information about how to find your pitch when you arrive. Please vacate your pitch by 12 pm/ noon on the day of departure.
Glamping – Check-in for our glamping is between 4 pm and 9 pm only. Prior to your stay, you will receive information about how to find your accommodation when you arrive. Please vacate your accommodation by 10 am on the day of departure.
To minimise disturbance on site we ask for no arrivals after 9 pm so please plan your journey accordingly.
NOISE & LATE-NIGHT ACCESS
We are a small, family-friendly site so please be considerate of your neighbours. No amplified music is allowed, and any outside noise should be kept to a minimum after 11 pm. We ask for no vehicles to be moved onsite between 11 pm and 7 am. Any taxis/ drop-offs must stop at the entrance gates between these times.
DOGS
We welcome dogs at Nyth Robin both for touring & glamping accommodation, with the exception of the Gwdihw hut and Cerys the Caravan, where dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be supervised at all times, must be on a lead, must not be dangerous and must not cause a nuisance or threat to anyone. Please clear up after your dog and never leave dogs unsupervised whilst at Nyth Robin.
CHILDREN
A responsible adult must accompany all under 16’s staying at Nyth Robin. No under 16’s should be left at Nyth Robin without an adult and must be supervised in all areas of the site, especially around the lakes.
GROUP BOOKINGS
We are a small site that promotes peaceful holidays, so out of consideration of all our guests, we don’t allow large groups on site. We know it’s important to be able to come on holiday with family and friends so bookings of up to 6 adults in no more than 3 different accommodation or pitch types are suitable.
VISITORS
Day visitors are welcome to the site for a short stay by prior arrangement only.
We may ask for a small payment if any day visitors spend an extended period of time on-site to cover our additional costs. Please check with Nyth Robin staff.
ADDITIONAL CARS
Touring – Bookings for the Upper & Lower Terrace pitch can bring one car in addition to your caravan or motorhome etc. If you would like to bring an additional car this MUST be pre-booked and is subject to very limited availability and incurs a £5 a night additional cost. No cars are permitted in addition to the campervan/ motorhome on the Small Van Pitch.
Glamping – With the exception of Foxglove, each glamping unit has parking for one vehicle only. Foxglove has an allocation for 2 vehicles. If you would like to bring an additional car this MUST be pre-requested and is subject to very limited availability and incurs a £5 a night additional cost.
SAFETY ON SITE
Whilst at Nyth Robin you are responsible for the safety, behaviour and whereabouts of anyone under your care or any pets that you have brought with you. We have a few swings on site for guests to enjoy and whilst we regularly check these, they are used at your own risk. If you notice anything that looks potentially hazardous on-site, please do let a member of staff know as soon as possible so we can check it.
You are also responsible for your valuables and any valuables left in any accommodation are at the owner’s risk. Please inform staff immediately of any loss of or damage to valuables and/ or property.
There is strictly no smoking allowed inside any glamping accommodation or in or around the facilities building.
We have CCTV cameras operating at Reception and at our site entrance only and footage is stored for no more than 31 days.
Glamping – If deemed necessary by Nyth Robin management, a member of staff has the right to enter any of our glamping accommodation at any time. Where possible/ feasible we will endeavour to notify guests prior to this happening.
Drones – Due to health & safety and privacy considerations we don’t allow the use of drones on-site.
FIREPITS & BARBEQUES
Firepits and barbeques are welcome but must be kept off the ground and fires should be in a suitable firepit or similar and be kept under control. Fires and barbeques should never be unsupervised or left unattended. A suitable firepit is provided with all glamping accommodation.
Please do not use wood from the surrounding woodlands as is often not suitable for burning. It can also provide important habitat for wildlife and forms part of the woodland ecosystem.
Nyth Robin management reserve the right to not permit fires and barbeques should they deem the current conditions unsafe.
WOODBURNING STOVES – Glamping accommodation
Some of our glamping accommodation have wood-burning stoves. Please read the instructions provided before using and if you do not have experience in lighting/ operating wood-burning stoves, please ask a member of staff who’ll gladly show you what to do. Do not allow children to play with or operate the wood burner. When lit please take extra care when moving around the wood burner as they get very hot, always make use of the safety equipment provided and never leave a lit wood burner unattended. All accommodation is provided with a fire extinguisher and fire blanket. A smoke alarm & carbon monoxide detector is also supplied in accommodation where appropriate
FIRE PROCEDURES
In the event of a fire, please leave the campsite and gather by the designated fire point by the large shed, just outside of the main gates. There are fire extinguishers, buckets of sand and means to raise the alarm at the Reception and the Facilities block. In the event of finding a fire please raise the alarm and inform a member of staff as soon as possible.
DAMAGES & BREAKAGES
You are responsible and liable for any damage to Nyth Robin property whilst on site. Please report any damages as soon as they occur.
Glamping – Please take care of our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We understand accidents happen so don’t normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
LIABILITY
Nyth Robin does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, illness or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
DATA
Nyth Robin complies with GDPR and securely stores only the necessary personal details you provide to us when booking. This enables us to process your booking. We never pass on your details to any third party. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how we store and use your data.
