Our Terms & Conditions

When making a booking, you’re entering an agreement with Nyth Robin, so it’s important you read our terms and conditions below.

We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave should any of these terms and conditions not be adhered to.

The booking and cancellation terms and conditions below apply to direct bookings only.

If you have booked through a third-party site such as Cool Camping or AirBnB, please refer to the terms and conditions of booking & cancellation with the relevant company. 

BOOKING

Your stay at Nyth Robin is only confirmed upon receipt of deposit or full payment.

Bookings made up to 18th June 2020

Any payments made for both Touring & Glamping bookings are non-refundable

Touring and camping – Unless advised otherwise, we require a 50% deposit to reserve a pitch at Nyth Robin. Balance payments are to be paid 2 days before your stay at Nyth Robin.

Glamping – Unless advised otherwise, we require a 50% deposit to reserve your glamping accommodation at Nyth Robin. Full payment is due 6 weeks before arrival date, or at the time of booking if arrival date is within 6 weeks.

Bookings made on or after 19th June 2020

Unless we are unable to open due to Welsh Government covid-19 restrictions, any payments made for both Touring & Glamping bookings are non-refundable

CANCELLATIONS

Once you have booked your stay at Nyth Robin, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit or full payment is non-refundable. We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and is widely available.

If for whatever reason you need to cancel your booking, we may offer to transfer your deposit/ payment to another date, but this is at the discretion of Nyth Robin management only and may incur a £15 admin fee.

If you have booked our glamping accommodation and we’re able to ‘re-sell’ your dates, then we will refund your deposit/ payment less a £15 admin fee.

The following information applies to ALL bookings at Nyth Robin regardless of how the booking was originally made.

CANCELLATION BY NYTH ROBIN

We reserve the right to cancel your booking if your pitch or accommodation is unavailable for reasons beyond our control.  In this scenario we would offer you alternative dates or accommodation, however if this is not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we will refund all monies paid by you for the holiday.  Our liability does not extend beyond this refund.

FORCE MAJEURE

If the whole of the Nyth Robin site must close due to a force majeure, then we are not responsible for cancellations and will not refund any payments made. We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and is widely available, to cover you for such a situation.

COVID-19 SAFETY

In order to comply with the Lockdown Measures and The Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (Wales) Regulations 2020 we reserve the right to close and/ or change on site access as required. If this happens, we will inform you as soon as possible. Please refer to our booking & cancellations terms if this happens.

You should not travel to Nyth Robin if you, a member of your party, or anyone you have had close contact with has any coronavirus symptoms within the 7 days prior to your stay. These symptoms are:

  • New, continuous cough
  • Temperature
  • Loss or change of taste or smell

If you or a member of your party shows any coronavirus symptoms (as above) whilst on site, you MUST pack away and return home as soon as possible. Please also let a member of staff know as soon as possible – 0731783534. Self-isolation at Nyth Robin is not permitted. If you are too ill to travel Nyth Robin reserve the right to close the site and charge you for the cost of loss of business for the period that we must remain closed.

If you or a member of your party shows any coronavirus symptoms (as above) up to 7 days after leaving Nyth Robin please let us know as soon as possible – hello@nythrobobin.co.uk or 0731783534.

During the special covid-19 measures, access to our toilet, shower and washing up facilities may be restricted – we will let you know at the time of booking about any restrictions.

Whilst on site please be adhere to the correct social distance measures, especially when using the facilities. Please also be aware of these measures when siting and setting up your caravan, motorhome or campervan. We may ask you to move if this you are pitched contrary to the safety guidance.

It is up to you to ensure that you are adhering to the correct and latest guidance set out by the Welsh Government –https://gov.wales/coronavirus. For example, ensuring you are travelling and socialising only with the correct number of household groups/ ‘bubbles’. 

We have carried out a full and thorough risk assessment of Nyth Robin site and all our accommodation, considering any additional risks from Covid-19. Where necessary we have taken the relevant precautions. This risk assessment is available on request by emailing hello@nythrobin.co.uk.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Touring & camping – Check in for our touring pitches is between 2pm and 9pm only. Prior to your stay you will receive information about how to find your pitch when you arrive. Please vacate your pitch by 12pm/ noon on the day of departure.

Glamping – Check in for our glamping is between 4pm and 9pm only. Prior to your stay you will receive information about how to find your accommodation when you arrive. Please vacate your accommodation by 10am on the day of departure.

To minimise disturbance on site we ask for no arrivals after 9pm so please plan your journey accordingly.

NOISE & LATE-NIGHT ACCESS

We are a small, family friendly site so please be considerate of your neighbours.  No amplified music is allowed, and any outside noise be kept to a minimum after 11pm. We ask for no vehicles to be moved onsite between 11pm and 7am. Any taxis/ drop offs must stop at the entrance gates between these times.

DOGS

We welcome dogs at Nyth Robin both for touring, camping & glamping accommodation, with the exception of the Gwdihw hut and Cerys the Caravan, where dogs are not allowed.  Dogs must be supervised at all times, must be on a lead, must not be dangerous and must not cause a nuisance or threat to anyone. Please clear up after your dog and never leave dogs unsupervised whilst at Nyth Robin.

 CHILDREN

A responsible adult must accompany all under 16’s staying at Nyth Robin. No under 16’s should be left at Nyth Robin without an adult and must be supervised in all areas of the site, especially around the lakes.

VISITORS

For the safety of all our guests, we do not allow day visitors to come on to site, so please arrange to meet in an alternative location. We will ask any visitors to leave.

SAFETY ON SITE

Whilst at Nyth Robin you are responsible for the safety, behaviour and whereabouts of anyone under your care or any pets that you have brought with you. We have a few swings on site for guests to enjoy and whilst we regularly check these, they are used at your own risk.  If you notice anything that looks potentially hazardous on site, please do let a member of staff know as soon as possible so we can check it.

You are also responsible for your valuables and any valuables left in any accommodation are at the owner’s risk. Please inform staff immediately of any loss of or damage to valuables and/ or property.

There is strictly no smoking allowed inside any of glamping accommodation or in or around the facilities building.

We have CCTV cameras operating at Reception and at our site entrance only and footage is stored for no more than 31 days. 

Glamping – If deemed necessary by Nyth Robin management, a member of staff has the right to enter any of our glamping accommodation at any time. Where possible/ feasible we will endeavour to notify guests prior to this happening.

Drones – Due to health & safety and privacy consideration we don’t allow the use of drones on site.

FIREPITS & BARBEQUES

Firepits and barbeques are welcome but must be kept off the ground and fires should be in a suitable firepit or similar and be kept under control. Fires and barbeques should never be unsupervised or left unattended. A suitable firepit is provided with all glamping accommodation. 

Please do not use wood from the surrounding woodlands as is often not suitable for burning. It can also provide important habitat for wildlife and forms part of the woodland eco system. 

Nyth Robin management reserve the right to not permit fires and barbeques should they deem the current conditions unsafe.

WOODBURNING STOVES – Glamping accommodation

Some of our glamping accommodation have wood-burning stoves. Please read instructions provided before using and if you do not have experience of lighting / operating wood burning stoves, please ask a member of staff who’ll gladly show you what to do. Do not allow children to play with or operate the wood burner.  When lit please take extra care when moving around the wood burner as they get very hot, always make use of the safety equipment provided and never leave a lit wood burner unattended. All accommodation is provided with a fire extinguisher and fire blanket. A smoke alarm & carbon monoxide detector is also supplied in accommodation where appropriate

 FIRE PROCEDURES        

In the event of a fire, please leave the campsite and gather by the designated fire point by the large shed, just outside of the main gates. There are fire extinguishers, buckets of sand and means to raise the alarm at Reception and the Facilities block.  In the event of finding a fire please raise the alarm and inform a member of staff as soon as possible.

DAMAGES & BREAKAGES

You are responsible and liable for any damage to Nyth Robin property whilst on site.  Please report any damages as soon as they occur.

Glamping – Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.  Please report these as soon as they occur. We understand accidents happen so don’t normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

 LIABILITY

Nyth Robin does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, illness or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

 DATA

Nyth Robin complies with GDPR and securely stores only necessary personal details you provide to us when booking. This enables us to process your booking. We never pass on your details to any third party. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details on how we store and use your data.
