What’s new in and around Aberdyfi

What's new in & around Aberdyfi.

We all love something new and different, so if you’re returning to Nyth Robin this year, here are a few new things to look out for and try!

Harbour Kitchen – Upstairs at The Britannia, Aberdyfi

The restaurant above The Brit is now run by Amy & Adam (past Nyth Robin guests 😊). They offer delicious home-cooked meals and proper Sunday Roasts. Dogs welcome!

Millie & Sid’s – Tywyn

This café on the high street has now been taken over by the fabulous Coast Team in Aberdyfi, who have created a lovely space for a cuppa and bite to eat. They serve breakfast, lunch and cakes.  They also have evening tapas from Thursday to Saturday. It’s dog-friendly too!

Toast Coffee House – Tywyn

If you’ve not checked out the gorgeous cakes at Toast yet then you should! And they are now open for Sunday Roasts too – pre-booking essential. Dog friendly!

Thai-Wyn at the Victorian Slipway – Tywyn

You’ll find a taste of Thailand upstairs at the Victorian Slipway in Tywyn, with their new Thai restaurant. You can eat in or takeaway – just book online.

New Dyfi Bridge

You’ll have probably seen the works going on for the new bridge over the Dyfi Estuary over the last few years, and in February it finally opened! Our pre-arrival emails and online guest book have more details on the new route, but do check ahead of your journey here so you know what to expect!

Centre Of Alternative Technology (CAT)

Sadly, last year CAT decided to no longer accept day visitors, focusing instead on schools, groups, and their educational programmes. We hope they’ll be able to welcome day visitors back soon
