As 2025 comes to an end we’ve been looking back on our year and it will be remembered for both glamping and touring guests enjoying a summer of sunshine. In Wales!
New, Improved & Some Firsts!
This year, we introduced a new glamping dome to our glamping accommodation. And Derwen Dome has been a hit, with the kids loving the triple bunk and dogs enjoying the enclosed outside space. With its green exterior, some of our younger guests have renamed our dome to the avocado!
We also made improvements to our outside space in our Woodland Cabin, with a large undercover kitchen and eating area, great for those inclement days! And we now allow dogs to enjoy a glamping stay with their well-behaved owners in the cabin.
We’re also opening our doors for Christmas and New Year this year, and are looking forward to welcoming new and regular guests for the festive period.
And lastly, we hosted our first whole-site booking. We had a Surfers Against Sewage ‘take over’ at Nyth Robin for a weekend in October, when they held a local reps get togeth

In July we were very chuffed to be named as one of Campsites.co.uk’s Outstanding Sites for 2025 and were also featured in WalesOnline’s Top 10 Campsites in Wales.
We’ve also had some great reviews, which often say more than we can and are a true reflection of what it’s like staying at Nyth Robin.

Our Year In Numbers
For those of you who like a statistic, here are a few of our 2025 stats:
- 35% of our bookings were from repeat guests
- 340 pooches enjoyed a walk and a sniff around Nyth Robin
- We welcomed 54 solo travellers (mostly women!)
- Over 400 pizzas were lovingly made and consumed by hungry guests
Coming In 2026
Next year we will be celebrating our 10th year and hope to plan in some events in celebration, including an open day in spring.
We’re also introducing a single-person discount on our touring pitches, reflecting the rise in solo guests. The discount is automatically applied to bookings, so no need to remember to do anything!
For families glamping, we now include bedding for all guests, so less for you to pack and remember!
